SeaRays with the long windows (80's vintage) are prone to serious leaks as a result of insufficient support holding the deck over the 9ft span that the window occupies. To add insult to injury, the window frame is held in place using insufficient wood screws that have a tendency to work themselves loose as the boat moves. What we have here is a system designed to fail. Fixing it was a relatively serious engineering challenge.
