You can see the top of the exhaust manifold where the exhaust riser bolts on. Note the rust. Actually when the exhaust riser was attached, a picture of which I didn't get, there was virtually no indication of the corrosion except for a small trail of rust. By looking into the center hole (the exhaust port) you can see that even the exhaust manifold was starting to rust through. This exhaust manifold was only 3 years old. Moral - buy good exhaust manifolds.
