Here's a picture of how I used a brass elbow and nipple setup to attach a section of heater hose to the muffler and run it to the hose. I didn't want to bend the hose too much. I decided to use the heater hose since it's probably better suited to the hot salt water environment .. it's the same grade as what was used on my boat when it was raw water cooled.
