I had left College Park on a Wednesday evening and did about 330 miles of highway. (My buddy Ian got to do a leisurely jaunt down the Blue Ridge). The second day it rained all day. Nothing like being between a dozen tractor trailers spraying up water, grit and retread to make your motorcycle journey a joy. I made really good time though.
