Md. Judge decides that the factory tail lights on a Pontiac G8 were illegal because the ticketing officer said they were.
Judge suggested trading or selling the car, because she would continue to rule them illegal. I guess DOT approving the car for sale in 50 states isn't good enough.

That would be troubling, but some of the comments below the article suggest that the owner of the car may have modified the taillights.
